| | | Bulgaria | Equant Bulgaria was established in 1993. The company is a key market player in provisioning of professional data services through its domestic integrated network. The domestic data network covers 29 Bulgarian cities or provinces and relies on a combination of leased lines, Integrated Services Data Network (ISDN) or PSTN V90 connections and is operationally based on the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) standard. Currently we have 323 operational ports and 35 managed CPEs/CEs. |
| Equant Bulgaria is also managing and operating an Access Network in the Balkan region to provide access to core Equant services to MNCs and corporate business customers in the region. The backbone of the Access Network is based in the United Kingdom and is extended to remote sites by VSAT SCPC links. |
| Equant Bulgaria also provides professional hosting and co-location services in its operations center offering managed physical environment, redundant power supply (independent power lines, UPS and own diesel generator), automated fire extinguishing system, site security through 24x7 on-site guard, monitoring of the network connectivity, direct and reliable backbone connectivity, peering relationships with the major service providers in Bulgaria, extensive systems support and consulting. |
